LIVING IN THE PAST
The Ultimate Jethro Tull
Experience
Based in Worcester Massachusetts,
“Living In The Past” is a six man group dedicated to performing the music of
Jethro Tull. Stretching from the blues
– oriented music of their infancy – through their epic concept pieces – to
their radio friendly singles ( all the while remaining loyal to their English
folk heritage), Jethro Tull’s music is as poignant, dynamic and vital today as
it has ever been.
Jethro Tull contributed
heavily to the 1970’s cultural collective now known as “Classic Rock”, and as
the “retro movement” continues to grow, more young people are eager to see, and
hear, and experience what they missed.
It is the mission of “Living In The Past” to faithfully recreate the
music, the energy and the spirit of Jethro Tull, with authentic and theatric
interpretations of their best loved works.
“Living In The Past” was
born out of the vision of singer Tom Barter, whose love for the music of Tull,
coupled with his ability to duplicate the voice and acoustic guitar stylings of
Tull founder Ian Anderson, could only lead to the forming of “The Ultimate
Jethro Tull Experience.” Over the last
several years, “Living In the Past” has brought their show to a number of area
nightclubs , including:
The Plantation Club, Worcester Ma.
The Palladium, Worcester Ma.
